Who we are and what we stand for
At Pilates For Everyone, we don’t just "teach classes", we manage movement. Located in the heart of Sandy, Utah, our studio was founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to high-intensity, authentic Pilates in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and strictly professional.
The 520-Hour Standard: Why Our Training is Different.
In a market where many franchises cut corners with "in-house" training programs that aren't recognized nationally, PFE holds a higher line. Every one of our instructors is certified through Balanced Body, the global gold standard in Pilates education.
Becoming a Pilates for Everyone instructor isn't a weekend workshop. It requires:
- 180+ hours of classroom instruction.
- Over 300 combined hours of personal practice and observation.
- Mastery of Kinesiology: A deep, working knowledge of anatomy and how the body moves.
Because our team is grounded in clinical-level training, we don't follow a "choreographed" monthly routine. We pivot in real-time. Whether you are an athlete looking for "abs on fire" or someone managing a chronic injury, our trainers have the skills to modify your workout.
The Power of Modification
Our "edge" is our ability to see the individual within the group. In a single class of eight people, it is common to see our instructors providing five different modifications simultaneously. We are familiar with 90% of the injuries that come through our doors—from herniated discs to joint replacements—and we know exactly how to pivot an exercise to keep you safe while still working the target muscle group.
An Inclusive Sanctuary for Sandy & SLC
We are more than a gym; we are a community. We take pride in being a safe and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of gender, religion, and traded the "gym-bro" atmosphere for a supportive sanctuary where you can build confidence and body awareness without judgment.
Authentic Pilates. No Shortcuts.
We teach actual Pilates, not "Pilates-adjacent" routines. At Pilates for Everyone, we love the classic Pilates roots and have expanded our training to include more dynamic & contemporary routines to keep every workout fresh, new, and interesting. We don't believe in "testing out" of levels. We find that in our mixed-level classes, clients challenge themselves more, build confidence, and achieve their goals faster.
Whether you want your legs shaking from an intensive HIIT session or you’re joining us for our exclusive monthly
Restorative Reset, at Pilates for Everyone, you’re in the care of Salt Lake County’s most talented, welcoming, and highly skilled professionals.
Meet the Certified Pilates Specialists at Pilates For Everyone
Tiffany George
(Certified Instructor and Owner)
I was a whitewater rafting guide in Grand Canyon for over 20 years, traveled the globe, and have a BS from the University of Utah. I practiced pilates for 11 years with Pilates by Robyn prior to 2019 when I got my instructor certification and purchased the studio from her.
This single change in my life revolutionized my world! I have less pain from previous injuries, more energy, and reinvented myself in my 40's. I've made priceless friendships and found kindred spirits here. People in my studio are much more than clients to me; they are friends, and I look forward to welcoming you into our pilates studio here in Sandy, Utah.
Emily Nye
(Certified Instructor)
I first started Pilates in 2007 after I had my first daughter by cesarean. I needed something to repair my body. After years of doing different types of exercises and losing interest, Pilates was the first thing that kept my attention. It is always fun, always a challenge and always evolving. I have never stopped. Pilates is something I will always love.
Now that I am a Certified Pilates Instructor I have an even greater love. It makes me so happy to see other people gain the strength and confidence in themselves. You got this! It’s so much fun!!
Katie Park
(Certified Instructor)
My name is Katie Park, and I am the mother of four children. As a former competitive swimmer, exercise has always been an important part of my life.
The first Pilates class I took was 13 years ago, and I have been obsessed ever since. I have been teaching Pilates since 2017, and teach a fusion of traditional Pilates and dynamic strength training.
Rhonda Swant
(Certified Instructor)
With years of experience teaching diverse fitness formats, Rhonda brings energy, expertise, and creativity to every class. From dance and cycling to resistance training and functional movement, she has helped clients of all levels discover the joy of movement while building strength and confidence. Most recently, Rhonda has developed a special love for her former Pilates, drawn to its ability to improve posture, mobility, and core strength.
Known for crafting challenging yet rewarding workouts, she ensures each individual has a fun, effective, and personalized fitness experience. Her philosophy? Movement should be creative, engaging, and empowering for everybody. In my classes, I want students to focus on themselves to become more confident and feel better at the end of the day
Sherry Sampson
(Certified Instructor)
Hi I'm Sherry! I'm originally from Perth, Australia and am the proud Mom of 2 children. I have a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, and have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I initially got my start by achieving my fitness certification instructing aerobics, then I moved over to begin teaching Pilates Reformer in 2017.
I love the full-body, low-impact workout that the Pilates reformer brings, and I thrive on sharing my love for it with our clients. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a client begin very carefully and cautiously, then gaining confidence and strength as they progress. Feeling part of a supportive, inclusive community is a key focus at Pilates for Everyone! Come join us!
